Signature House's Jamie Hill selected to represent Team GB

We are thrilled to announce that Jamie Hill, one of our dedicated cooks, has qualified to represent Great Britain in the upcoming duathlon championship in Coimbra, Portugal. The event is scheduled to take place on the 15th of June.

Jamie’s selection to Team GB is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and athletic prowess. A duathlon, consisting of running and cycling segments, demands exceptional stamina and versatility – qualities Jamie has demonstrated both in his athletic pursuits and professional life.

The duathlon event in Portugal will bring together top athletes from around Europe, competing in a rigorous test of endurance and speed. Jamie’s participation highlights not only his personal achievement but also the dedication and commitment highly regarded by Amica Care.

Recently, Jamie gave an inspiring talk to our residents and staff, sharing his impressive sporting achievements over the past few years. The residents were captivated by Jamie's stories of training and competition, and they are eagerly looking forward to following his exploits in the upcoming championship next month.
