At the heart of our service is a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents and creating a homely environment in which they feel safe and cared for. We see our residents as an extension of our own family – taking time to get to know each person as an individual and understanding what makes them happy. That may mean playing a favourite song, reading together or simply taking a daily stroll in the gardens.

We encourage residents to share familiar memorabilia such as treasured photos or keepsakes with us so that we can build a close bond that goes beyond traditional care. As we learn more about your relative we can develop a wonderful relationship that allows us to offer true companionship as well as physical care.

The decision to relocate your loved one to a care home can be a difficult one which is why we welcome potential residents and their families to spend a day with us – at no cost – to experience all that is on offer.

We find that this can effectively ease the transition from living at home and reassure your loved one that a warm and welcoming environment awaits them, with familiar faces and recognisable surroundings. If your relative has specific needs or requires a more complex level of medical assistance then we offer specialist nursing and dementia care at many of our homes.

• Personal laundry, hairdressing and chiropody services.

For further peace of mind, we have close relationships with local GP surgeries as well as a nominated link district nurse.

We encourage regular visits from friends and families. These visits can be enjoyed in the privacy of the room or our friendly communal lounge where your relative may enjoy introducing you to new friends!
