With a safe and nurturing home-from-home environment, our care homes for people with dementia are based in Exmouth, Crewkerne, Bromsgrove and Dorchester – with comfortable environments providing signposting to support your loved one to maintain as much independence as possible. All of our homes have access to a safe outside space that residents can use independently.

Through understanding who your loved one is as a person, we can shape our care to provide not only the correct physical support but also wonderful interactions based on who they are and what they enjoy doing. We place great emphasis on enriching the daily lives of our residents with stimulating and pleasurable experiences – whether this is reminiscing about past achievements or trying out something completely new with our activities team.
At Amica Care we encourage our residents to personalise their bedrooms with familiar memorabilia and sentimental items. Such things as photographs and treasured possessions are often a great starting point for enriching conversations about favourite hobbies and family – helping us to build a picture of what your relative enjoys talking about and takes pleasure in.
Our care homes are thoughtfully designed to create a soothing and calm environment for residents with a focus on music and reminiscence. Many participatory activities are on offer, as well as the opportunity for visits from friends and relatives.
