Thank you to St. John's Court Image

Thank you to St. John's Court

"Just a brief email to say my sincere thanks to all who looked after mom (and me) over the last few days and over the last 5 years. I have been writing a blog for some time now and this inauspicious moment has made it. It possibly demonstrates not just how grateful I am to you all but also how much mom loved St John's Court Care Home in Bromsgrove and all the staff. The  home is truly a credit to the Care Home system and you and the staff the finest example of how things can be done".

From Admin: Thank you so much for allowing us to share your story in the link below. Your mum will be very sadly missed by us all at St. John's Court. Please click on Read More to follow the link to Gandalf on Tour

Yeehaw! St. John's Court goes all Country and Western

Friday 28th February saw St John's Court Care Home in Bromsgrove transported back into the old Country and Western Days. The activities team- Ben and Ffion -  did an amazing job in transforming the room to get into the spirit of things. Many residents and staff dressed up and enjoyed an array of cowboy themed music, games and even the local line dancing group came in to show us their dancing skills. We even had our own wanted photos and a bar on hand for residents to enjoy cocktails!

It was a brilliant day, enjoyed by all. Click the Read More button to see the photos

Welcome to Our New Brand Name - Amica Care Trust Image

Welcome to Our New Brand Name - Amica Care Trust

We are delighted to announce that Somerset Redstone Trust, a charitable provider of care for people, rebranded to Amica Care Trust on January 7 2019.

We originated in Somerset 18 years ago and now proudly operate care homes and independent living sites across the UK, providing exceptional care and support.

The Trust decided to rebrand to reflect our work more accurately, to enable opportunities to market our services and to pursue further growth.

We spoke with residents, family and staff to find out what mattered most to them. This led to the creation of our new mission, values, name and brand.

"Our residents are central to everything we do which is why we wanted to involve them as much as we could. Amica means 'friend', and that is what we represent to our residents. Our brand colours represent our commitment to quality, fun and a bright future, however long people stay with us." Keren Wilkinson, CEO of Amica Care Trust.
