Exmouth House raises over £500 in Sponsored Walk
We are thrilled to share the success of Exmouth House’s recent fundraising event! On Saturday 11th May, our dedicated team embarked on a 9-mile sponsored walk from Countess Wear back to Exmouth to raise funds for their garden project. Despite the heat, the team’s determination and community spirit shone through, and we are proud to announce that we have raised £520 so far!
The weather was hot, but that didn't deter our amazing team. Their enthusiasm and commitment to improving the lives of our residents kept them going. Elizabeth Hole, Exmouth House Activities Lead, shared her thoughts on the day:
"We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved through this sponsored walk. Despite the heat, the team remained enthusiastic and determined, knowing that every step was contributing to a worthy cause. The funds raised will make a significant difference in creating a beautiful garden space for our residents to enjoy."
The funds raised will go directly towards enhancing the home's garden area, creating a serene and beautiful outdoor space where the residents can relax and enjoy nature. This garden project is an essential part of our mission to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for everyone at Exmouth House.
The home is still accepting donations to reach our goal and complete the garden project. If you would like to contribute, please visit their Supported Giving page: https://bit.ly/EHSponsoredWalk. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us get closer to creating a wonderful outdoor retreat for the residents.
