Amica Care Welcomes Eve Mitchell as New Chair of Trustees

Amica Care is excited to announce the appointment of Eve Mitchell as the new Chair of Trustees. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership and a strong track record in driving transformation, Eve is well-positioned to guide Amica Care into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Eve Mitchell steps into the role following the dedicated service of John Whittaker, who has served as Chair for the past seven years. Although John is stepping down as Chair, his involvement with the organisation will continue as a valued member of the Board of Trustees. His leadership, particularly during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, has been instrumental in steering Amica Care through unprecedented times, and his contributions have had a lasting impact on the organisation.

Eve brings with her a wealth of knowledge in leading transformation and embedding sustainable change across various healthcare settings. Her passion for continuous improvement and cultural development has defined her career, and she is eager to apply these strengths to further elevate Amica Care's mission of delivering outstanding, person-centred care.

On her new role, Eve said:
